Well, let’s start at the beginning and try to make a long story short, if we can. Dr. Simeons worked with obese and overweight patients about half a century ago, and throughout the course of his research and extensive study of these patients developed the HCG diet. When he developed it, it was in injection form. This form was very expensive and only available through special, exclusive weight loss clinics like the one through which Dr. Simeons himself worked.
The expense and exclusivity of the product developed by Dr. Simeons is the reason that you’ve only started hearing about it pretty recently. It wasn’t widely available, not to the average Joe or Jane. The rich and famous had the monopoly, which is one reason why they seemed better able to stay looking so great. It wasn’t all about the personal trainers, and it definitely wasn’t about superior genes.
Oral HCG through Homeopathy
As homeopathic medicines have started to enjoy wider use and acceptability as valid forms of treatment, a homeopathic version of HCG has been developed. This is the oral HCG that you’ve heard about. Because homeopathy dictates diluted versions of the active ingredients, the amount of HCG you receive in a dose is relatively small and thus very safe. However, studies have shown that it’s still just as effective as the injectable version.
Basically, the reason that there are two versions of HCG, injectable and oral, is that one is old and one is new. It’s my belief that injectable will soon become obsolete. There are always those who question change and advancement and who will thus adhere to the injection form as the true and most effective version, but we can’t help that. Oral HCG is safer, easier and less expensive to obtain, and easier to incorporate into the lives of most of us who don’t enjoy the luxury of the rich and famous.
