There is a certain amount of truth to the old saw, “You get what you pay for.” There are a lot of websites out there that are offering “cheap HCG,” but a little detective work will often reveal that such HCG diet kits are no bargain. They may even be hazardous to your health.
Where Those HCG Kits Come From
It is no secret that the wholesale export of American industry has resulted in a flood of cheap consumer goods. It is becoming all too apparent that 99% of these products are shoddy and of low quality, unlikely to last more than a year or two. This is unlike the way things were prior to the 1980s, when “Made in the USA” was a label not only of pride, but of quality. Such products were built to last.
Those days are gone and unlikely to return. The same could be said about HCG; those cut-rate “kits” that you find for sale online are made in Mexico, China or Indonesia, where there are few regulations and even fewer quality controls when it comes to homeopathic remedies.
The HCG made in these countries is likely to be expired by the time you receive it (assuming you receive it at all). Even worse, it could be tainted and actually harmful. Unfortunately, you would have little recourse in such cases.
The other issue to keep in mind is that it is illegal in the U.S. for an individual to have needle syringes in their possession without a valid doctor’s prescription. Anyway, do you really want to go to the time and trouble of mixing your own HCG solution and sticking yourself with a needle every day?
How much is your time and comfort worth?
The Oral Drops Alternative
While they may represent a more expensive product, oral HCG drops made in U.S. laboratories are a much better alternative. (There are also HCG injections made in the U.S., but these are only available by prescription through a registered weight loss or fertility clinic.)
Individuals can order HCG drops freely from many reliable sources. However, even in this case, some due diligence is called for; no matter how nice the website looks, you should definitely investigate the company thoroughly before ordering.
What To Look For
The first thing to check is whether or not the company has a physical address (a brick and mortar location, not simply a P.O. Box) and a telephone number. In addition, the e-mail contact information should be consistent with the business’ Internet domain. Avoid any HCG dealer with a “hotmail” or similar address. This usually means there is something to hide.
You should also be able to find consumer feedback and testimonials about the company online. This brings us to one of the best ways to find a reliable source for quality HCG: online forums. Many others have discovered the power of HCG; you owe it to yourself to network with these people and take advantage of the experience they have to share.
