HCG, Obesity, Testosterone and More

When it comes to HCG, obesity is only one health issue that is addressed. The fact is that HCG can be used to treat fertility problems in men and women, and has been used this way in licensed fertility clinics for many years. However, men who suffer from low testosterone may experience low energy and diminished sex drive and performance as well as inability to impregnate his partner. This is one of the positive side effects of HCG.

Where it Comes From

Considering that HCG is a by-product of pregnancy, it shouldn’t be surprising that it would be effective in treating fertility and other hormonal issues. HCG is produced by mother and fetus during pregnancy. Its primary function is to protect the fetus during gestation while regulating metabolic processes for both mother and fetus.

HCG appears to function like an anti-rejection drug, suppressing the mother’s immune systems around the baby. Otherwise, the mother’s immune system would attack the developing fetus as if it were a “foreign” body, much as happens with transplant patients without proper medication.

A second function of HCG was observed by Dr. A.T.W. Simeons, when he was doing research in India during the 1940s. In situations where the mother suffers from undernourishment, HCG prevents her system from “leeching” nutrients from the fetus.

Although there is a great deal of HCG in the human body immediately after birth, this tends to diminish throughout childhood and adolescence. Adults have virtually no natural HCG left in their systems by the time they are in their early twenties.

HCG, Fertility and Testosterone

When administered via injection to women who are experiencing infertility, HCG stimulates ovulation, facilitating the production of eggs.

It is perfectly natural for men to experience a reduction in testosterone as they get older. However, in rare cases this can affect younger men as well. In these cases, the symptoms are not as obvious. Young men with low testosterone may still have a normal sex drive and ability, but may be unable to father a child.

When it comes to men, HCG goes to work on specialized cells inside the testicles. These are known as leydig cells, and are named after the 19th-century German medical researcher who first described them.

Leydig cells are the ones that produce and secrete testosterone. By stimulating these cells, HCG causes them to produce testosterone in greater amounts. This in turn leads to increased production of sperm – making it much more likely that coitus will result in pregnancy.

We should point out that it is highly inadvisable to order HCG liquid for this purpose. Treatment of fertility issues with HCG is best left to a qualified doctor who specializes in treating infertility.
