What Does “Homeopathic” Mean?

Dr. Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843) was born in the town of Meissen, in the Saxony province of what is now Germany. He began his medical studies in Leipzig, continued in Vienna, and earned his MD degree at the University of Erlangen at the age of twenty-four.
Dr. Hahnemann was one of the first to understand that while many pharmaceutical drugs might successfully treat ailments, they could also do a fair amount of harm in other ways. Sometimes it makes the patient worse off than if the disease had simply been allowed to run its course. In the early 1780s, he wrote:
“My sense of duty would not easily allow me to treat the unknown pathological state of my suffering brethren with these unknown medicines. The thought of becoming in this way a murderer or malefactor towards the life of my fellow human beings was most terrible to me, so terrible and disturbing that I wholly gave up my practice…and occupied myself solely with chemistry and writing.”

It was his attempts to discover why traditional medicine so often made matters worse that led him to rediscover the principles of homeopathy as propounded by Hipokrates 2,300 years earlier. Interestingly, he began his experiments on himself using bark from a Peruvian species of flowering shrub that when taken, produced symptoms similar to malaria – which was among the tropic diseases that fascinated Dr. Simeons nearly 150 years later.

We are not sure how much you actually know about hCG. hCG used for weight loss purposes come from the urine of pregnant women. That is where our hormone is found and easily separated. Our lab is FDA regulated and all testing and manufacturing is done according to the FDA guidelines. The sources are properly screened and certified.
Along with these other ladies, I am asking what substance is HCG made from? You have not yet answered this question and nobody else seems to want to be forth coming with a real answer either. Could it be that HCG being a “human” hormone, found only in early pregnancy, is a direct by product of aborted baby’s placentas?

Basically put, homeopathy is a system of wellness treatment. The homeopathic system of wellness treatment varies from the medical care system on a very basic level. Individuals seeking treatment through the medical care system visit a doctor seeking relief for specific problems and/or symptoms. The majority of cases are treated with drugs.
The same symptoms/problems presented to a homeopathic professional would not be treated singly. Symptoms are treated as indications of deeper, core issues. I am on homeopathic hcg drops for weight loss and it is working marvelously. However, I want to understand what is in the drops, and I still do not understand what homeopathy is. I do not understand what symptom the drops are producing that I already have. I understand homeopathy when it is defined, but not in relation to Dr. Simeons’ original HCG injections, in that now homeopathic HCG drops are used. Although I am on this protocol, I am still concerned about the safety of the HCG drops and I want to learn more about all this. Can you help? Also, I would like to know how and by whom homeopathic sublingual HCG drops were “invented.” Thank you. – Helen McAllister
