HCG, or “Human Chorionic Gonadotropin,” is normally produced by women and fetuses during pregnancy, and is also at the heart of what has been acknowledged as the most successful weight loss plan in history.
The most frequently asked question is: should one buy oral HCG or the injectable form – or even the recent gel that can be absorbed through the skin?

The Injectable Form
HCG injections were once standard – and were the only kind that was available. It is still used in fertility clinics, where men receive HCG injections to increase sperm production and women are treated with the hormone in order to stimulate ovulation. (Note: we do not recommend that you use HCG for this purpose on your own without being under a fertility specialist’s care.)
Now, many people – primarily Type I diabetics – learn very how to give themselves injections properly. Other people, not surprisingly, are rather uncomfortable with the idea of sticking themselves with needles. Regardless of whether or not you can deal with injecting yourself with a syringe however, there are a couple of problems.
The first problem lies in the fact that injectable HCG can be very difficult to obtain. Normally, it is only available by prescription from a licensed MD. There are overseas sources for injectable HCG, but this comes primarily from countries in which regulations and oversight of the industry are all but non-existent. Therefore, you cannot be certain that what you are getting is a quality product.
Secondly, you are running the risk of getting some unwelcome attention from customs. At best, it may be seized, and at worst, you may wind up getting a visit from Customs agents who will have some difficult questions.
Assuming you are able to obtain injectable HCG on your own, there is a third issue: preparing the serum. The injectable form of this hormone comes to you in two parts: a powdered concoction that is the actual HCG, and water that has been treated with a chemical bacteriostatic agent to inhibit bacterial growth that might otherwise destroy the HCG. You must mix these two parts very carefully in a sterile container before loading the syringe – and you must perform this ritual twice a day.
It’s Better to Buy Oral HCG
The advantages of liquid HCG are many. The best part is that the mixing has been done for you. It is much more convenient and easier to take.
The two things to keep in mind are:
(1) liquid HCG is perishable. If you do not plan to use it immediately, it’s best to keep it in the refrigerator until you start Dr. Simeon’s protocols.
(2) You must not simply swallow HCG drops. They need to be placed under the tongue and held there for at least ten minutes. If swallowed, it will lose all effectiveness, because stomach acid will destroy it before it is absorbed into the bloodstream.
