Let’s face it: there are a lot of miserable people out there currently, people for whom life tends to be an endurance test rather than a joy ride. Maybe you’re one of them, or maybe you have a lot of days where you feel like you are. If so, I want to tell you about the HCG alternative to misery.
Health Can Be a Coping Mechanism
Being overweight or obese is not always the cause of misery, but I think it’s safe to assume that it’s easier to be happy when you’re healthy. You tend to have better coping mechanisms, little daily habits or rituals that are constructive rather than destructive to help you get through the hard times. The HCG diet is about the creation of those healthy habits.
Unhealthy Versus Healthy
For example, let me give you a scenario. There is a woman. She’s big-boned, maybe a little overweight but not obese. She has an unhealthy lifestyle, however. She smokes and drinks alcohol a lot, consumes coffee and Red Bull like it’s going out of style. She eats sporadically and unhealthily. She’s frequently mean to those around her. Her unhappiness is obvious.
One day she has a stomach bug. When asked by another woman what she’s tried to consume, she says, “Coffee and a Red Bull.” To the other woman, who practices healthy habits, this response is astounding. The healthy woman suggests ginger ale and a piece of toast or some crackers. These things are the things her mother would have given her if her stomach was upset, things she gives her own kids.
Healthy Habits are Passed Down
Perhaps herein lies the problem: healthy habits are not being passed down through generations anymore, not as frequently as they once were. People are tending to be unhealthier, thus unhappier, because they simply don’t know what health means.
The HCG diet teaches about what it means to be healthy, from the ground up: eating regular nutritious and balanced meals, drinking water and herbal teas, taking vitamin, mineral, and herbal supplements. It’s amazing what a difference it makes.
