In a world where we find ourselves heading straight for a drive through when we’re hungry, keeping to the HCG diet plan is tough. It gets even harder if you live a fast paced life full of over-scheduled stress. With a little preparation and planning, you can stick to the plan and find success. Here are some tips on how to do it.
Tips to Stay on the Diet
The beginning of the diet is very different than you might expect. There is no weight loss limit for the first two days. Eat as much fattening food as you want, all day long if you want. The extra fat helps your body kick start its metabolic cycle and allows the HCG to get right to work.
Once you hit the reive part of the diet, you’ll have to turn on your creative side and plan ahead for the day. Before you get this far, however, it is a good idea to head out to the store and pick up some small sealing lid containers.
Start the day with breakfast at home. Since protocol calls for coffee or tea in any quantity, enjoy a good bit of it before you head out the door. You can take some with you when you head out the door in the morning. Take some later in the day, but before lunch to help tide you over for a little while.
Your lunch meal will consist of 100-125 grams of a lean meat, a vegetable, a bread, and a fruit. There are literally hundreds of combinations to choose from, and if you prepare the meals in advance, you eliminate the possibility of eating more than you’re allowed. You’re allowed turkey, white fish, beef, chicken, shrimp, and lobster, so you should be able to find something you like. For dinner, you get the same choices, so prepare something in advance if you’re going to be out of the house for dinnertime.
Remember that successful dieting comes from a positive mindset. Don’t focus on what you can’t have, but rather on new ways to take what you can have with you.
