Things to Do When Using HCG for Weight Loss

If you’re using or thinking about using HCG for weight loss, here are some good tips for navigating and living on the HCG diet.

Avoid changing your schedule
First, don’t take time off of work for the diet.  Most employers wouldn’t be very open to that idea anyway, taking time off to lose weight, even though we recognize it as a significant health concern.  Still, the idea is to incorporate being healthy into your life, changing habits so that even when you’re done with the diet, you’ve learned how to live a healthier lifestyle.

Unless you’re independently wealthy, work has got to be a part of that lifestyle, so you need to learn how to modify your schedule so that you can do both.   You won’t be exercising while actually on the HCG diet, but you may start to once you’re done with the diet.

Exercise after the diet
Many people find that exercising in the morning gives them great energy for the rest of the day, although other people have found a gym near their job so that they can go work out after work and thus avoid rush-hour traffic.  Exercise doesn’t have to be hardcore.

Do Not Trade Lunch for Exercise
Whatever you do, don’t skip lunch!  A healthy lunch will also provide you with amazing afternoon energy.  You especially don’t want to skip any meals while you’re dieting.  While on the diet, a good plan is to make additional servings when you cook dinners, so that you can package up leftovers to take as lunch.  Just pay attention to portions.

Also, if you’re accustomed to family dinners, don’t let the diet get in the way!  Involve your family in your quest for health.  Some of the HCG diet recipes will be enjoyed by all. It’s just a matter of making more of it.  Also, think of the hardship you can save your kids down the road by teaching them healthy habits now!
