Two Things the HCG Diet and Exercise Are Not

A next generation scientific breakthrough in weight loss is on the market.  With a little digging, we have found some things you should know before trying an HCG diet plan.

First let’s look at what a HCG diet plans is not.

1. It’s not a fad diet.

There are probably 100 people in this country that can spend the rest of their lives eating nothing but one specific vitamin enriched soup or juice, but for the rest of us these diets should be absolutely ignored.

Fad diets aren’t a way to lose weight; in fact they are a terrific way to gain weight once you decide to eat human food again. Other diets give you a lot more food to choose from, but they can be just as unhealthy as the obesity they promise to eliminate from your life.

It is hard to believe that a diet of bacon and steak will help you lose weight, but it doesn’t take much imagination to realize what that kind of diet will do to your arteries. The introduction of HCG supplements allow you to drop weight by cutting your caloric intake to weight loss a day for around a month, and (this is a huge and) not gain it back when you stop. The point is to keep your body from hitting starvation mode once it gets to weight loss and start eating away at muscle, protecting fat and slowing your metabolism.

2. It’s not a new untested chemical.

The HCG hormone occurs naturally in both men and women, but in extremely high levels in women during pregnancy. A HCG diet plan uses a very low dosage which does not produce any side effects. It’s FDA approved and safe for men or women.
