Why Everyone’s Talking About HCG Fat Loss

It’s probably more accurate, when talking about the HCG diet plan, to refer to “HCG fat loss” rather than “HCG weight loss.”  Don’t get me wrong, you’ll definitely lose weight—but it’s all about what kind of weight you lose.  Not all weight is bad—muscle and bone, for example.  HCG is about making you lose the not-good kind:  the fat.

Also, in the event that you aren’t getting enough calories in your meals for energy, your body will store whatever fat it can, because as a stored energy source, fat keeps the best—and then start to burn muscle and bone for energy.  You’ll lose weight, sure—but at what cost?  Weak, depleted muscles and thin, easily broken bones?  All the better to support all that fat?

The HCG plan, when executed properly, ensures that your body burns fat, keeps muscle and bone, and is set on a new metabolic course of action.  At the same time, on the conscious level, it ensures that your mind learns what foods to eat and when by providing instruction in those matters.
