Why HCG Diets Don’t Require Exercise

When you think of a diet, you most likely think of eating healthy and exercise. Well, with HCG diets, you don’t need exercise.  It may even be a bad idea to exercise while on the diet.

The way that HCG diets work is you take a small dose of the hormone which then stimulates your body to burn your stored fat. Without the added dose of HCG, your body normally will not dig into its fat reserves like it does when the HCG stimulates the using of the stored fat. Even though you are on a weight loss diet, your body is using your stored fat and actually is burning 2000 calories a day from those reserves. This means that you are not hungry as your body has plenty of stored energy to provide your body with.

The main reason why it is not recommended to exercise when on HCG diets is that your body is already burning the stored fat from your body, so there is really no reason to push yourself and do vigorous exercise. Basically it is counterproductive and will not help in any way. If you wish to stay in good cardiovascular shape, you can do light workouts such as walking.

Also, exercising while on HCG diets may make you feel fatigued quite ly. It is actually not safe to exercise to the extreme when on an HCG diet as it is possible you can faint and pass out from fatigue. If you are worried about not looking toned when you lose weight, you don’t have to stress out about it. HCG will only burn the fat reserves in your body and you will not lose the lean muscle. In fact, since you are burning fat from just about everywhere, you will look more toned than you ever had before.

If you choose to exercise while on HCG diets, you may be doing more harm than good. You may be sending your body into starvation mode, which halts your weight loss. Instead, simply sit back and follow the diet properly and the fat will burn off itself.
