No Hunger Pangs or Deprivation on the HCG Diet Program Controls

The main component of Dr. Simeons’ protocol is the very low, 500-calorie diet – yet people on the HCG diet program report very little in the way of feeling hungry or deprived. How is this? After all, 500-calories a day is almost nothing. To put it in perspective, that is fewer calories than are contained in a good handful (about three ounces) of peanuts.

The average person requires three to five times that amount in order to maintain good health. What you may not realize is that equation does not change when you are taking homeopathic HCG. You may only be eating weight losss a day, but you are still getting the full amount – from fat deposits.

Lose Fat as a Last Resort

Your hypothalamus gland is your body’s thermostat. It is that part of the brain that governs metabolism, including which fuel is burned and how. Unlike the rest of your brain however, it has no innate intelligence, nor can it make value judgments. To the hypothalamus, there’s no difference between a low calorie diet and actual starvation. How the HCG Diet Program Controls Hunger Pangs

As you are probably aware by now, the heart of the HCG diet program is a low calorie diet. In truth, a low calorie diet can be seen virtually as starvation – under normal circumstances. The human body normally requires between 1,500 and 2,weight losss a day to maintain normal metabolism, depending on height, muscle mass, gender and general level of activity.

Yet after the second or third day of taking homeopathic HCG while following Dr. Simeons’ protocol, most people feel little discomfort, if any at all. The reason lies in how HCG unlocks the best sources of energy before anything else when the subject is on a reduced calorie diet.

Saving The Best For Last

Consider the fact that the hypothalamus gland – the region of your brain that controls metabolism – has no innate intelligence of its own. It is like a personal computer. It can only act on information that has been fed to it, but it is incapable of making value judgments.

So, when it comes to a shortage of calories and reduced food intake, the hypothalamus cannot tell whether you, through your higher brain functions, are consciously choosing to reduce your caloric intake, or if you are actually living under famine conditions in which food is simply unavailable. It will react in the same manner – by slowing all metabolic processes to a crawl in order to conserve energy.

There is a second problem, which lies in the nature of the excess fat deposits that collect primarily around the abdomen in men and the hips and thighs of women. This is a specific form of fat known as adipose. Metaphorically speaking, it is like old gasoline that has turned into varnish. Highly volatile, full of energy, but not very usable in that particular form. Dr. Simeons’ described adipose as being “locked away.” Eventually, your hypothalamus would start consuming adipose, but only after lean muscle tissue and structural fat has been consumed.

HCG causes adipose deposits to liquefy while it reprograms the hypothalamus to consume those deposits first in order to make up the calorie deficit on Dr. Simeon’s protocol and the low calorie diet.

This Is The Reason

The sensation of hunger is really stomach acid gnawing at the stomach lining when there is nothing there to digest – but what stimulates this is low glucose levels. When blood sugar levels are low in a normal, healthy human being, it stimulates the production of digestive acid in preparation for the arrival of nourishment. (Interestingly, this is why the THC in marijuana causes “the munchies;” this active chemical absorbs excess blood sugar.)

Because adipose is such a rich nutrient and energy source, once HCG “kicks in,” dieters feel little or no hunger pangs after two or three days on the program. These excess calories, locked up in fat deposits, are made available as fuel for your metabolic processes, so you will normally feel no sense of hunger of deprivation. Additionally, you should feel as energetic as ever, since these extra calories are being used up as fuel.
