While you’re on the diet, if you get an unbearable craving for apple pie, try this: cut up a fresh apple, sprinkle it with cinnamon, and warm it up a little in the microwave or the oven. You’ll be amazed at how much it tastes like apple pie. You’ll also be amazed at how you have a burst of true, pure energy from that apple, very different from the heaviness you probably experienced when the apple pie settled itself down to stew in your stomach.
You may scoff, but once you’ve experienced the invigorating power of health, I don’t think you’ll want to go back. I think you’ll find that a whole new world of joys and pleasures has opened up for you.
