HCG For Weight Loss: Why and Why Not?

Have you ever gone on a long car ride with small children? They have a talent for discovering topics of conversation that they can continue to wonder and question you about that hold little to no interest for the adult trapped in the car. And the most popular question is, “Why?”

“It’s broken.”

“Why?”

“Because you broke it last year.”

“Why?”

“Why?”

“Why?”

“That’s just the way things work. You were a baby.”

“Why?”

And this is the point at which you get drawn into a vague, fairly detrimental and entirely unwanted discussion of the birds and the bees and the resulting babies. Yikes. And the entire time you’re at the wheel of a moving vehicle. At least the child at hand is strapped into said moving vehicle and can’t jump out to escape you. When you’ve meandered through a not very explanatory and even less logical explanation of the topic that is somehow at hand, you sigh thinking that at least the conversation will be over and you can simply turn the music up and move on when….

“Why?”

It all starts over again.

This is the type of circular conversation that often occurs between advocates of the homeopathic HCG for weight loss program and those who are against it. The advocate can explain and explain and explain and explain, but no matter what you say there will be another question from the opposition. And it’s most likely going to be, “Why?”

It’s Not Easy Weight Loss

I like things easy. I like to easily get raises and promotions at work. I like to easily get straight A’s when I submit work for a grade. I like to land the new account so that I get that awesome bonus at work. I like to easily remember everyone’s birthday and everyone’s anniversary. I like to easily create gourmet, 4 course meals when my boyfriend or my mother comes over. I like to easily look gorgeous everyday without allowing time for excessive primping.

But let’s face it, even with all the tricks and tools we’ve got to make things easy…things still aren’t exactly easy. Everything good is going to require a little effort.

I don’t think there are very many of us who “easily” get promotions and raises. We work for them. We ask for them. We work for them again. And then we ask for them again. And we continue until a better job pops up or we land that dang elusive raise.

Straight A’s are the same way. Easy straight A’s typically go to those students who actually read the book, conducted the experiment or dedicated hours to completing that presentation.

Landing that new account at work? You have to figure out what they want and make sure they get it, and that almost always calls for some work on your part; sometimes a LOT!

Remembering everyone’s birthday and anniversary? I let my phone do this for me. But it’s not exactly easy and it’s not exactly fool proof. I have to input all the information. And sometimes…I somehow don’t hear the alert. And it’s still all my fault. No one accepts me trying to place the blame on my Crackberry (derogatory name for my hated Blackberry). I’ve tried.

Gourmet dinners? Easily? Nope. That’s not happening. The sheer amount of food is going to call for some time in the kitchen. You can take advantage of great tips and tricks and recipes, and they’ll make it easier. But they simply can’t make it easy.

And being gorgeous everyday takes a LOT of work. Most of us don’t have the time to dedicate that kind of time daily.  So we come out looking “pretty good” or “acceptable” 5 out of 7 days and on those other two days we either hit “gorgeous” or “retched” depending on fate and luck.

Given the general nature of this argument you’ve probably already guessed that I’m going to break the news to you that there is no easy weight loss. There’s efficient weight loss. HCG Diet: Adjusting Your Favorite Recipes

So you’re on the HCG diet and you’ve assumed that since you have to restrict yourself to weight losss you’ll have to be preparing separate meals for your family. This leaves you feeling tired and frustrated and a little bit put upon. Cooking isn’t your all time favorite pass time and now swith your new weight loss program you’ll be doing twice as much of it!

But if knowing that it’s all in the name of weight loss, it’s much more tolerable. You don’t actually have to cook separate meals for the family. They can eat HCG approved foods. They’re all quite healthy. They just shouldn’t be restricted to the same portion sizes and should have added carbohydrates. We recommend running through some of the recipes that are your family favorites. See if any of them are appropriate or can be slightly adjusted to make them appropriate for your HCG diet.

Common problems that can be easily removed/replaced with substitutes include:

1.    Oil: use non-stick cooking spray instead of oil for cooking in a pan. Use Raw Apple Cider Vinegar or Soy Sauce when using it in a sauce or dressing.

2.    Rice: Instead of eating with rice, turn to the DietRedi Shitake product available through the site. Your family can still have traditional rice.

The best diets for weight loss will require you to eat your vegetables. For some of us that’s no problem. We have our favorite vegetables. We have our vegetables we only like fried. Weight Loss Diet: HCG is the Light at the End of the Tunnel

Weight loss diet  programs are meant to make the body lose weight. Generally speaking this is accomplished by ingesting fewer calories than you are using in a day. It sounds so simple. Yet the completion of this type of program is much more difficult than you may guess. It has to be; or there wouldn’t be so many people on a diet at any one given point in time.

As of a few moments ago…there were: 1,544,563,544 overweight people in the world. And that number was growing so fast (according to Worldometers.info) that I had to try really hard to catch it at a stable point long enough to copy and paste it). And you don’t even want to know how much money has been spent on weight related heath issues in the world today.

And there was one other number that individuals considering an HCG weight loss diet might be interested in thinking about. That is the total amount of money that has been spent in the world today on weight loss diet programs. That’s right, someone is officially keeping track … and the amount of money spent on weight loss is disgusting. That’s right. I think it’s disgusting that over $180,000,000 was spent on weight loss in one day. Why do I find that disgusting? I find that disgusting because all that money could have been put toward HCG weight loss diet programs, then instead of WASTING all that money, dieters could actually spend it wisely on a program that would help them reach their weight loss goals.
