Using Oral HCG for Obesity Treatment

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

While Dr. Simeons’ diet has been proven a highly effective weight loss method, it is important to understand how to use oral HCG for obesity treatment correctly. HCG is only one component of Dr. Simeon’s diet, and unless all of these components are in place, you will not achieve the weight loss results you desire.

Use the Liquid Drops, Not The Injections

There are many reasons why you should use HCG drops rather than the injections. One primary reason is cost. In order to have HCG injections legally, it is necessary to have a physician’s prescription, both for the HCG itself and for the needle syringes. Chances are that s/he will want to run a number of potentially costly tests before agreeing to write a prescription. In fact, outside of a few pricey weight-loss treatment clinics, few physicians are willing to prescribe HCG injections.

Most of the HCG injection kits are from overseas, where the homeopathic remedy industry is not especially well regulated and the products are of dubious quality. Additionally, the HCG you get is in a pre-mixed form. It is necessary to mix up the solution in a properly sterilized container, then measure it into the syringe.

Finally, needle injections are painful and unpleasant – and you will need to administer them to yourself every day.

Why Oral HCG is Better

Liquid HCG drops are readily available without a prescription, and are manufactured in U.S. labs that are subject to FDA regulations. The products that are made must also meet minimum quality standards established under the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States (HPUS). This is your assurance of product quality and safety.

What Else Is Required

In addition to regular doses of HCG (approximately .4 ml, or 14-16 drops under the tongue three times a day), there are certain things you must do and things that you must avoid.

It is important that you do not simply swallow HCG. Homeopathic remedies are easily destroyed by stomach acid. Therefore, they are taken under the tongue. Simply place the required amount of drops under the tongue and hold for a few minutes while the medication is absorbed into the bloodstream.

When you start Dr. Simeons’ protocols, you will need to spend two days gorging on as much high-fat food as possible. After this however, it is necessary to avoid fatty foods and even soaps and skin creams that contain vegetable or animal fat. You then cut your food intake to 500 calories per day and avoid strenuous exercise (mild exercise is okay). You are likely to feel some sensation of hunger and deprivation for the first day or two.  This will pass however. Once the HCG takes control of your hypothalamus and your body starts feeding on its own excess fat deposits, the hunger pains will stop.

Oral HCG for Obesity Treatment: Tips for the VLC Diet Phase

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

If you have started oral HCG for obesity treatment, then you are probably on Phase 2. This phase is one of the most critical on the plan and you will need to stick closely to the VLCD, or very low-calorie diet. While you are on this plan, following the diet is essential to resetting your metabolism and getting your hypothalamus functioning properly again. Unfortunately, it’s also a phase of the plan that is hard for people to follow.

Here are some tips for staying on track in phase 2:

1.    Use a calorie tracker

You can find a calorie tracker online through several reputable websites. It’s crucial to track your portion size as well as the food you consume. It’s not at all unusual to suffer from “portion distortion” when you first start a diet. But if you are careful to measure and record everything, you get really good at estimating portion size and calorie counts.

2.    Use a diet cookbook

Our clients tell us that the HCGDietDirect com Recipe Guide was the one tool that really kept them on track. Use this cookbook to find delicious recipes that are within the diet’s guidelines. It will be a lot easier to stick to the plan if you vary your foods and try new things to keep mealtime interesting, and this guide can help you get there!

3.    Plan your meals ahead of time

Another powerful strategy is planning your meals in advance. You already have a calorie “budget” each day, so plan how you will spend your calories the night before. Lay out your breakfast, have the ingredients for lunch and dinner on hand. Pack a snack with you if you run errands. This will keep you from feeling tempted to buy fast food or eat way beyond your caloric requirements.

4.    Join a support group

There are many diet forums out there dedicated to this program. Join one and get to know other people who are being successful on the plan. You’ll build a support group in no time. You can go to the boards if you need a reality check, to trade recipes, or gloat about your awesome weight loss!

By using all of these strategies, you can stay on track in Phase 2 and achieve your weight loss goals. A little planning and foresight will go a long way in helping you stay on the right path.

Maintaining the HCG Weight Loss Cure

Friday, February 12th, 2010

Dr. Simeons, who came up with the HCG weight loss cure in the first place, had a lot of advice for maintaining it—for making sure it was actually a cure.  Today, people using oral HCG for obesity treatment aren’t necessarily working as closely with their physicians as Dr. Simeons worked with his patients while giving them HCG injections. However, they are provided with much of the same advice, such as nutritional meal planning.

Watch Out for Hunger
Dr. Simeons stressed with his patients that it was important to not become over-enthusiastic as they wound up the diet. They should pay attention to a marked increase in hunger, which could mean that they had effectively burned all of their excess, unneeded fat and were now on the borders of starvation mode.  The thing about HCG is that it won’t permit you to actually starve yourself. It will cause your body to put that essential fat right back where it needs to be.

Thus, if you lose two pounds more than what you needed to lose, you’ll gain it back when you eat enough again, and that’s okay. You need to gain it back, and you actually don’t want to lose it in the first place. Because your body could start overcompensating, making you gain back more than what you need.  It could affect your ability to maintain your weight loss.

Watch Out for Protein Deficiency
Once you stop taking the drops and can eat more than 500 calories a day, you still need to eat within reason, but you also don’t want to skip important nutritional components of your meals, such as proteins.  Protein deficiency causes water retention and thus perceived weight gain.  During the diet, your body hovers just on the edge of protein deficiency, but since the HCG is breaking down fatty tissue, the protein is being fed back into your body.

Without HCG supplements in your body, you cannot comfortably or healthily live on 500 calories a day, and you don’t need to.  You’ve lost that excess weight.  Sure, you want to keep it off—but you will, by eating nutritional, balanced meals and exercising and just generally engaging in a healthier lifestyle.

HCG Weight Loss Programs Lead to Healthier Lifestyles

Friday, February 5th, 2010

There are a lot of parents out there currently using oral HCG for obesity treatment. I’m intensely glad about this for their sakes, but I’m also glad for the sakes of their children, for the future of our country and of the world.

This gladness is due to the fact that HCG weight loss programs lead to people becoming informed about health and therefore changing their habits to accommodate healthier lifestyles.  When parents change habits and lifestyles, it follows that these changes will rub off on their children.

Does Healthier Equal Happier
Why do I think this will have such a positive impact on the future?  Well, it’s actually very simple:  healthier people are happier people.  They have to be. You can’t be healthy without experiencing some degree of mental and emotional contentment, and you can’t be entirely happy if you aren’t experiencing a sense of physical well-being.

So, we’ve got healthier, happier people, children who have learned from their parents about healthy lifestyles and grown up to promote those lifestyles and pass them along to their own children.

Healthier Lives Means a Better Future
These types of people, I think, tend to be more compassionate toward others, because they have more positive energy to share.  They make decisions that take into account not only their own personal well-being but the well-being of those around them, of the world. Because they understand that it’s hard to be healthy and happy yourself if the world around you is not.

Like many who have come before me, I cherish a dream of a better future.  I dream  of a future in which our children do not suffer from obesity.  A future in which they can go outside and play without choking on pollution, in which the majority of the foods they buy in their neighborhood grocery stores are naturally healthy and free of toxic chemicals, rather than the opposite.

I believe that this dream can be achieved, but it starts with individuals and then families and grows outward to engulf the world.  I believe that something as simple as the HCG diet can hold the answer.

How Oral HCG for Obesity Treatment Can Help End the Rising Rates of Obesity

Sunday, September 27th, 2009

If you live in the United States you may not realize it but we are in an obesity pandemic. The rates of obesity in this country are rising every year and it needs to stop. Oral HCG for obesity treatment is by far the best way to finally end these rising rates and help people live a healthy life.

When you are obese, losing weight has so much more to do than just being able to fit into a size 6. When you are medically obese you need to worry about your health and the possible medical complications that come along with being obese. Things like type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, and sleep apnea can all be caused by being obese. These medical complications are serious and can be life-threatening.

Fortunately there is a way to get healthy and lose the weight. Oral HCG for obesity treatment has been proven to be an effective and safe way to lose weight even if you are over 100 pounds overweight. The great thing about the HCG diet is that anybody can do it. It doesn’t take rigorous exercise six times a week to lose the weight. What it does consist of is taking small doses of the all natural HCG hormone and restricting your calories according the guidelines in the diet.

The thing about the diet is that it is not just about losing weight. It also has to do with cleansing your body from the toxins that make you fat in the first place. Not many people realize that the food that you eat at your local restaurant or the so-called healthy food at your grocery store may actually be causing you to be overweight. Chemicals in food actually make you have food cravings and make your body completely off balance so that it simply stores this food as fat since it doesn’t know what to do with it.

Oral HCG for obesity treatment can work for anybody. If more people would follow the HCG diet, we could see the obesity rates dramatically decrease.

Try Oral HCG for Obesity Treatment

Monday, August 17th, 2009

Oral HCG for obesity treatment yields positive results for anyone who will adhere to the diet protocol strictly. Oral HCG for obesity treatment has replaced the injection method for obvious reasons.

Being obese can weigh heavily on one’s heart… literally. It not only feels emotionally bad to be carrying around extra weight, it is detrimental to your health. As your body layers on fat, it gets harder and harder for your organs to do their jobs.

Your blood pressure goes up, and your heart has to work harder. Just reducing your body weight by 20% can lower your risk of cardiovascular disease by 40%. Think of the savings to your pocket book as well; less trips to the doctor, less time off work, etc. The heavier a person is, the greater their risk for diabetes and osteoarthritis.

Do you ever feel like it just hurts to move? Is the pain stemming from your joints? You could be suffering from osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is a form of arthritis that most commonly affects the weight-bearing joints: your hips and knees, for example. Excessive weight is the number two cause of osteoarthritis (aging is #1). The increased stress on the cartilage causes the cartilage to deteriorate and you to feel pain as your body attempts to deal with the loss of cushion.

Carrying extra weight on your body can be related to keeping mounds of paperwork on your desk. In an unorganized workplace, it is more difficult to find the right tools for the job and further difficult to get things done accurately and efficiently. The same is true with the human body. As we pack on extra fat, our bodies work harder and less efficiently and produce sub-par results. Live the clutter free life you deserve to live today by trying oral HCG for obesity treatment.
